I’m pretty happy with my grades for this semester. Especially considering how ridiculously overwhelmed i felt by life; its kind of amazing to me that it apparently didn’t really affect my grades. I mean, i did feel like it affected the quality of my work sometimes….but apparently not enough to make much of a difference (if any). So here’s the breakdown (if anyone cares to know):
Classes that matter:
- Vocal choral pedagogy: B (really, I’m just glad this FREAKING DUMB class is over.)
- Curriculum and Instruction in music education: A- (Hash decided he didn’t like my writing this semester…which is ironic, because Fuentes apparently thought i was some kind of genius in hiding. but whatever, I’ll take it.)
- Music History and Analysis III: A (Didn’t turn in one of the major assignments because it got lost in the mail…twice….but he apparently had pity on me. Oh yeah, and i think he thinks i’m a genius in hiding. There’s that.)
- Brass Methods: A- (I suck. Except at tuba. But Hash apparently doesn’t think so.)
- Elementary Spanish: A-
Classes that don’t matter:
- Aerobic Cross Training: A (aka jogging…even though there is an actual jogging class i didn’t want to take…dumb.)
- Oratorio: A (doesn’t matter, it’s for no credit.)
- Flute lessons: A
- Calvin Band: A (no credit for this either.)
So there it is. Here’s to another semester done. To be honest, I’m pretty glad that this one is behind me. I look forward to spring. I think it will be better.
